You know it's going to happen. Rashard will have a good game vs the Rockets tonight and all the "I TOLD YOU SO" posts will soon follow. I beat you. Actually, as much as I wanted to see Lewis as a Rocket I think he was much better off getting away from Houston in the long run. I think it helped him grow up quicker and kept all of his Houston friends from constantly asking, "why isn't Rudy putting you in the game, yet". I'm happy for the success he is having and Seattle and wish him nothing but the best. Maybe the Rockets can pull a Drexler type trade for him in the future and let him retire as a Rocket. Since when has passing up future all-stars been a good thing. I'm sure Chicago is cheering everyday they don't have Garnett. I could only imagine how much philly fans would have disapproved of taking koby. If he can be responsile with millions in seattle he could have done it in h-town. P.S even if he had not of matured here. bryce drew? mursad turkan? Quit peeling my scabs. ------------------ "Isn't the purpose of the game to put the ball in the basket?"
My point is Rashard is a better player because he went to Seattle...the opportunities for him to play were much better there at the time. Old School ------------------ Just Build It!
I'd still say that Rashard as a Rocket would have been better than Mirsad Turckan as a Rocket... ------------------
