I was on a random NBA game binge and came across this game where Dennis Johnson hits a 35 foot 3-pointer to push Seattle over Milwaukee in the 1980 playoffs (first year of the 3 point line) 114-113 in OT. What's particularly funny is that one of the announcers forgot all about the line and proclaimed "it's all tied up!" before correcting himself. You guys think this is the first game winning 3 point shot in playoff history? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFqjbogEGGQ I have no clue how to post the actual video on the post.
well it was the 2nd round but given the rarity of game-winning 3's and how few 3's were taken in the early years of the 3 point line, it certainly seems likely. cool video.
