Some interesting stuff about multiple courts, and some changes with the controls to make it more natural.

    Fight Night PS3 Interview:
    http://ps3.ign.com/articles/730/730101p1.html
Talks about new features in the PS3 version, including a 1st-person mode, plus some slight graphical enhancements they've made (partly due to the PS3 and partly due to the extra development time). They'll be using the controller functionality too.

    Thanks for the pics.

    They look awesome...

I'm really waiting for more info on FFXIII and the other two that are in that 'series'. I'm also kind of curious about the FFVII being redone. I've been hearing a ton of rumors (more recently) and I can't be much more excited.

Also, any news if FFXII will have any graphical improvements or a 'update' for the PS3? I wish they held out for the PS3 instead of it being on the PS2.

One thing I have to point out....The trees in the first shot look awful. Also, the players heights are all very similar, but they shouldn't be. I see AI and he look almost as tall as the rest of the bunch. ALso, it's like they're looking into space. No eye contact? Awesome otherwise though, XB360 looking hot.

Fight night looks awesome. I really like the detail of the surroundings. I do think the sweat shines a bit too much (Maybe there are a CRAPLOAD of lights). The last image scares me....Haha

If there is anything new to be shown on FFXIII and FF vs XIII (3rd game was a cell phone game that I don't care about...unless they announce ANOTHER game in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series) at TGS in a couple of weeks. I'm guessing that, if the rumors are true, they'll also announce the FF7 remake there as well (not saying I expect it to be announced at all, but if it does, it will probably be there). That Sony fanboy "insider" mentioned something about an "unannounced" Final Fantasy title coming to the PS3 (FFXIII and FF vs XIII are already announced AFAIK).

As for FFXII, there might be some enhancements playing it on the PS3, but just the usual enhancements you get with backwards compatibility.

I don't think they should have held off on it though. It was supposed to come out in 2004 IIRC, and moving it to the PS3 would probably have made it a 2007-2008 title (and the last new FF came out in 2001 I think with FFX). Besides, apparently FFXIII started out on the PS2, but they moved it over to the PS3 (partly because of DVD's limitations IIRC).

edit: Oh yeah, then there are also the rumors about a new FFT-type game for the DS (based on FFXII or XIII, can't remember which).

It's the dead eyes and the instant lighting effects.

I hope EA is making the games better than adding as much gratuitous sweat as they can. I rarely notice that stuff when playing. Having owned the older versions, I can't say that I'm impressed.

What I hate about these screenshots is they are always of the replays which are unreal but it doesn't look like this when you actually play.

I don't know about NBA Street (think only the 1st screen might be gameplay...and that could still be a replay), but I think Fight Night probably looks close to that (if not exactly like that) in gameplay. Here's a clip of FN3 for the 360:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Esg8l4HtOBQ
The 1st-person mode might make it look a little closer to the screens also (only need to process one character instead of 2).

It would be nice if they stopped using screens, and used either animated gifs or videos for everything. As you said, sometimes the screens are from replays (or whatever), and the game won't look like as good. Other times, especially in racing games, the screens look like crap because of a lot of motion blur and some other things that can't really be enjoyed in a screen shot (so the screens make the game look worse than gameplay videos/gifs). Plus, animation and physics are always hidden in screens, and those are starting to be real important in games now.
