I liked Comedian and Rorschach instantly, no problem with Silk Spectre, but I'm not too sure what to think about Ozy and Nite Owl. Their costumes look too much like they would fit in Batman Forever and Batman and Robin (nipples on the bat suit, the bad one with Clooney).

I think they all look really cool. I just hope there is a good story in the movie.

Those were my first impressions as well. Though they are well done - they just look ghey.

Yeah, I thought the Watchmen were supposed to look ghetto, not hyper stylized.

Plus, some look too young...unless there's going to be a planned series. Which wouldn't make sense since it's not an action inspired comic movie goers assume it to be.

Rorschach looks good, but everyone else looks plastic. I can't see the Nite Owl pic for some reason

Mmm, Carla Gugino. The costumes look right, but I think using an old camera to take the pic might have made it look even better.

I really liked the Watchmen graphic novel and will definately see the movie but I don't like the look so far. Way too stylized and the heroes look too heroic, particularly Nite Owl. From what I remember of the book was that Nite Owl is supposed to be in his 40's with a paunch coming on and not the buffed up guy that they are showing. Silk Spectre just seems too much of a sex pot instead of as a woman whose looks are just starting to go.

I'm almost dissapointed they have the team that did 300 doing this as the point of the Watchmen wasn't about making real life like a comic but making a comic like real life warts and all. IMO what would've been great is to have the team that is doing Battlestar Galactica do the Watchmen where even though they use a lot of special effects the overall colors are somewhat washed out and grainy.

Nipples on one of the costumes and the Smashing Pumpkins song from the end credits of Crapman & Robin. I'll give this movie the benefit of the doubt, but two reminders of that piece of garbage is not a good marketing move.
