Meh. In my opinion, the gravity of this news is equivalent to if Barbara Bush were to be booed at a Phish concert. So what do a NASCAR race and a Phish concert have in common? You'll never find me at either one.
Show of me a video of republican first lady getting booed. What has Michelle Obama done to them? Talk about lack of respect. Total lack of class but that's to be expected from a Nascar event.
LOL, dude, the Bushes got booed unmercifully at the 2009 inauguration. Probably a dozen other places and events before and since then. They were unpopular, but they got good at avoiding places where they knew the crowd wasn't on their side. That, or they'd just pre-screen the crowd and kick out any unfaithfuls.
That was when Mr. Bush was around, I`m sure his wife did not get booed when she was at an event by herself.
NASCAR'S fan base is typically white conservative bubba types. of course she was going to get booed. who is shocked? who is surprised? hell, they made a big deal about Toyota being in NASCAR, despite being the only car manufacturer to build their car in the United States.
Gee, Michelle Obama booed at an event that sells a large quanity of confederate flags to its audience? Say it ain't so...
Remember when NASCAR was going to the be the second biggest sport in America? Yeah, what happen to that?
