Well here it is, the first fully lighted pics. The only problem I have is the cowel. I think it looks too bulky. The neck as well. Some might think that neck won't allow him to turn his head, but what I've read is that not being able to turn the head was a problem on all the previous suits that they wanted to address and that he can actually turn his head with this one. Apperantly, the photos were leaked and photoshopped by an unknown person, so these probably weren't meant to be official.

Kinda ok. Hate the abdominal area. The pattern isn't right. I would preferred the belt to be a dark grey or chrome. Don't like the cape material matching up with the whole suit. Don't like the pieces sticking out attaching the cape to his mask. It should've been more streamless. The abdominal area(patterns) still bothering me. It just drawing my eyes away from the bat symbol to hte stomach area. Well that's my $0.02
It should've look and have this kind of texture to it. I don't really like the clean and shiny look of it. It just that the little worn out leathery look is better giving it more texture. Like for instant Gollum vs Hulk. Gollum look better becasue he got layers of texture and not totally flawless like the Hulk who's almost just darn clean green.

next summer it begins?? geez, it began in like 1989 with Michael Keaton. that series of movies was not that long ago. are we really all that desparate fro yet another batman series? i like batman. i like the character. but this just seems funny to me. and i'd like to echo drewdog....i have absolutely no idea who christian bale is.
For that matter, in 1989, it had already begun with Adam West. Since this is a "prequel" of sorts - a restarting of the story from the beginning of the character, that tagline makes some sense. Personally, while I'm not desperate for a new Batman movie, I'm ready to finally see a good one. Hopefully this one ends up being it.
That's the whole idea of people not knowing who Christian Bale is. Just like Christopher Reeves. He might not be the best choice for Batman but he's better then most of the actors that were considered for the role. The less known he is the better since people won't hate the guy because of his popularity of staring in so many other movies/role.
that trailer is f**king awesome. And just like that, my anticipation meter for this movie jumps to 'hyped'.
that trailer echoes why batman is my 2nd favorite superhero! which really makes me sound like i'm about 10 years old, which, frankly...i am from a mental standpoint. i dig character development big time. i thought keaton added that sort of element to the first batman, but it was never replicated. i think maguire adds it to spiderman big time...that and a script that focuses heavily on developing the character of peter parker. and it's why i don't give a rip about superman or the x-men. it's unrelateable to me. takes far-fetched to a whole other level.
That trailer is great, but I didn't like that those quick glimpses of him in the suit were just pictures that are on the website. Oh well, it is a teaser.
The batsuit doesn't blow me away but I don't think it will have much influence on my opinion of the movie once it finally comes out. The trailer is awesome.. but I would love for a new Batman: The Animated Series cartoon to come out of this movie somewhere down the line. That would be great.
