thought kerry's first answer was generalized, but he was forceful and direct, something he's not usually been. and his makeup guy did a good job- he doesn't look orange.
the camera angles are edited to make the candidates look the same height. I think that was on page 26, sub-section four of the debate stipulations - right under makeup guidelines.
I just don't understand how Kerry can claim Bush made a bad decision to go to Iraq when he himself voted to authorize force. Doesn't compute.
it appears that both can't differentiate between Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein did i hear wrong, or did Kerry stumble and say Osama Hussein?
basso, are you post padding? 4 post in 7 minutes (3 of those in the first 4 minutes) on the same thread seems unnecessary.
I'm at work watching it with captions and Kerry definitely seems to be the aggressor. Bush appears miffed when they pan to him.
yep, thats his negative point, he needs to stop flaunting kerry, He just needs to keep the ball in the court, and wait for bush to make mistakes.
This is reminding me of Bentsen versus Quayle in 1988. Even that one didnt seem this lopsided. To be fair, it is early in the debate and Bush has plenty of time to pick it up.
