What do you Firefox users use for your email service?

I currently use Apple's mail (thru RoadRunner). I could take it or leave it. It's certainly nothing special.

Mozilla does have a mail client called Thunderbird. Never tried it though. I just use Gmail.

Is there a Mozilla Thunderbird for Macs? If so, I'd use that. I love the calendar extension, which is just going to get better.

I use gmial. By far the best online service i have used.

There is also firefox extention that will check it at a set interval and tell you when you have a new message.

I think he means mail client

Firefox has a mail client by the name of Thunderbird, as previously mentioned but I still use Office Outlook. I couldn't live without Outlook, I have tried Thunderbird but its extremely simple I need something more robust so I'm sticking with Outlook for now

If I could access gmail through outlook, I'd never use anything else ever again.

I use my MSN premium email most often, sense I can look through all my emails while offline etc. (although now with my dsl connection i am always online)

Since most of the email address I write to are in my msn messenger it's also neat how the msn messenger list is inbeded into the email client.

I watch the development of Thunderbird and usually download each new release just to test it, but I see no reason to switch from Outlook either. I'm surprised by how well the spam filter works in Outlook 2003. Once Thunderbird goes 1.0, and they make a few improvements to the add-on calendar, I'll definitely recommend it to people who just need the basics. But I doubt I'd be willing to switch, even though I only need email and a basic calendar. I've gotten used to the the three column look in Outlook 2003, and Thunderbird's doesn't look the same. You can switch it to three columns, but it's not as good. But I'm sure it will only continue to get better.

I'm also watching the development of Nvu, the stand alone HTML editor: http://www.nvu.com/. I think it's going to at least be popular for personal Web pages and so on.

Eudora for the last two or so years. Before that I used the Netscape email client (and newsreader client).

For email account, I have postmark.net and gmail, plus my work email.

For client, at work I use Groupwise, and for programs, I bounce around. Sometimes I use Thunderbird, but now that I'm pretty much an exclusive home Linux user, I'm starting to use Evolution.
