So the folks at Spread Firefox have put together a campaign to purchase a full-page ad in the New York Times. I thought some of you here might be interested since I know there are quite a few dedicated Firefox users here. Before I continue, I want to say that I'm just suggesting this as something a few of you might be interested in. But please don't take this as me trying to sell something, or trying to take "business" away from the CF.net tipjar, or the benefit this upcoming weekend, or anything like that. I just know that I'm not the only one here who loves Firefox, and some people might like to contribute to this. It's hardly as noble as saving the environment or anything, but it is a neat idea nonetheless. Anyhow, an individual donation is $30. If I get ten people together to donate $30 each, we/I can be listed as a "community champion". We have to coordinate this though, so if you're interested, you need to contact me somehow and we can arrange it. Every donor gets his name on the ad, and we all will get a full-page PDF of the ad. I will donate, and I know I've got one other person who will, so if there are eight folks here who would like to join, we can get this done.
