I didn't know his name for a long time, but I still like Tom. He's cool. I think he's better than Jay-will, but I wish Tom had gotten the job under better circumstances.
TT is the best thing to happen to that show in a long-ass time. They've tried a number of different things with that show...and this is the best set-up--a simple two person halftime show with them sitting behind a desk. Hannah Storm is really good, too. I don't want to see Pat Croce humping Jay-Will's leg. I don't want to see PJ Carlesimo and KJ standing up, leaning back and forth like they have to go pee or something while talking about a game. Just keep it this way...simple...with an excellent anchor in Hannah, and a guy in Tolbert that doesn't have to try too hard to be funny.
That's what I was referring to. There's no reason to believe that Tom Tolbert has killed anyone. There's at least enough evidence to believe that Jayson Williams did. I'm not talking about whether or not I thought Jayson Williams would've killed anyone before he did, even though shooting off guns in a parking lot may be some sort of indicator.
Read his book, Loose Balls, and then you can atleast answer the question about whether or not he's capable of shooting someone.
Im sorry, but I dont see what everyone likes in Tom Tolbert. He isnt funny and his commentary for the most part is horrible. I dont like Peter Vesey either, but I would rather see him paired up with Pat Croche then see Tom Tolbert and Hanna Storm in the studio. I wonder who ABC will have.
It was funny the way he said it. He was like Patterson is no more a Kobe Stopper than I'm an Olajuwon Stopper. Kobe's numbers go up when Patterson is in the game.
