I have been a big time Rockets fan since Rockets signed Yao Ming. I do mean Rocket fan, not Yao only fan. May be this is the fun of BBS by bashing players and coaches when the team is struggling. But I think it is getting out of hand. Of course, getting rid of idiotic coach or dumb player may calm everyone a period of time, but I just don't see it is the ultimate solution for this team. We have talents, however, they are young. Yes, you can say the starting guards have 4 years of NBA experience, but they are trying to play with a rookie Center whom they don't even know a single bit of him until 4 months ago. And the coash also is implementing a new offense.
I hope we make the playoff this year, but if we do not, we can still benefit from it by using the time to rest players. Right now it seems to me everyone is expecting this team to be contender right away. I tell you what, no now. It's very frustrating to see us losing to teams like Atlanta, Miami, Memphis, Cleveland, Clippers twice....but Championship don't come immediately even you have all the talents together, just look at Portland. I personally think team chemistry is important. See how many years to take Sacrameto and Dallas to be considered contenders? So. Let's give our team, our coach, our player a little time and we will be expecting something really big sooner than starting over with new coach and players....

Good post. I do think that it will take time for this team to grow and mature. This is one of the most physically talented teams the rockets have had in a while, the problem is in their heads. They just have to find a way to become a hard nosed team that takes no prisoners.

There are at least 4-6 other threads right now on the front page that talk about trading players and firing Rudy. Please post your opinions in one of them. Adding yet another thread that says the same thing half a dozen other threads are already saying only clutters the bbs. Thanks.
