He approved the suicidal Barkley trade. He forced the lopsided Pippen trade. He approved the drafting and trading of Rodrick Rhodes and Mirsad Turkcan. He screwed up the arena referendum campaign. He stood by for years while the Rockets played a dead-end post-up offense with creaky old vets who couldn't deliver and wouldn't change. Worst of all, HE HAS FAILED TO FIRE THE WORST COACH IN THE NBA -- RUDY TOMJANOVICH.

Let's stop passing the buck. The Rockets are playing cluelessly on the court. Don't just blame the coach and leave it at that. Ultimate responsibility lies with the owner who tolerates such nonsense and nonperformance. I've had enough of you Alexander apologists who want to cover up for his lousy management by scapegoating his idiot coach. FIRE LES -- NOW.

Fire Les and convince Drayton McLane to take over. He'll get rid of all this budding talent before they get really expensive to keep.

    Will,

Aren't administrators supposed to be more intelligent than this?

    1. Uniforms- Yes, I don't like them either, but the old ones were horrible.

    2. Fire Rudy- First of all, how can anyone honestly claim that Rudy is the worst coach in the NBA when Don Nelson is in the same state. Okay smart guy, let's say we fire Rudy. Who do we hire? Brian Hill? Bob Hill? Doug Moe? Dick Motta? Try to talk Danny Ainge out of retirement? I think I'd rather keep Rudy for the rest of the year thank you very much.

    3. Failed arena- Didn't one of your colleagues write a post against the referendum? Anyone who knows anything about politics knows you can't blame any one individual for a failed campaign such as this.

    4. Accept this play- Okay, here is where I'm going to go off. Are any of us really that short-sighted that we believe the Rockets should be in the playoffs every year? Every franchise has down years. Is Rudy the right coach to rebuild this team? I don't know, but you can't necessarily blame him for losing. Is he responsible for Dream's hernia? Is he responsible for Barkley's injury?

Yeah fire Les and lets sell the team to Bud Adams. Elgin Baylor (current Clippers GM), can be our GM. And try our hardest to get Nelson junior to coach for us. Grummet, that Drayton joke was funny. Damn the Astros are stupid. I dont know why the hell Hunsicker and Dierker got new contracts. They both suck, just like the damn Astros.

Barzilla, you'll have to excuse Will-- he doesn't follow politics.

My apologies for embarrassing the admins, BK. Must be my lack of vision.

Yes, indeed they are. I'm shocked. Will was Clutch City's finest student. I personally never would have passed if I hadn't cheated off his exams.

It's OK, Will. It's best that we admins stick to what we do best.

Since you don't have much experience writing or discussing politics, you should try to avoid those areas. Much like Clutch avoids talking about the Rockets, and Keeley sticks to subjects other than stats databases.

As for our exams, I was always an eenie-meenie-miney-moe kind of guy myself.

    Will,

You forgot his spineless retraction of his only good decision -- taking Calvin off the air.

He totally lost his authority right out of the gate and this is why Rudy and Carrol Dawson have pulled the rug over his eyes for so long. You know, rumor has it the Maloney-career thing was a whole scam engineered by Rudy and CD to convince Les that he was an NBA player so they all could split his salary.

    Will,
Rudy is far from the worst coach in the league. What a joke.

We would like to get rookie Francis on the break for some easy scoops in the first quarter...
