There were plenty of rumblings about Easterby prior to the Watson situation going nuclear. The SI article that blew the lid off the problems with Easterby and the FO came out a full two months before Watson's trade demands even went public. Hell, do you not recall the Hopkins trade, which took place almost a year prior? Easterby was closely linked to that and everyone wanted his head for it.
Not to mention he tampered the Caserio pursuit the first go around, then him and BoB pushed the only person with contract experience out, and then gloated about negotiating the $hit contracts that put us in cap hell. Dre said it best, nothing good has happened since Easterby came on board.
