Well . .. let me start this one
While JVG is not on my good side

Can we honestly said this So Call great Center
    is helping him AT ALL?

    Yao has gotten worse
WHO WOULD BE A BETTER TEACHER?
    Hakeem [maybe no interested]
Kareem [maybe interested but supposedly a real A-Hole]
    Moses [Translators all around please]
THE FRICKING MERMAID DAVID ROBINSON [did ewing every get 71 . . . bogus or not]
    Walton [Great]
Maurice Lucas, Bill Laimbeer [good passing and shooter]

at this point just about anyone with a frickin pulse

For the Record. .as a ball player . . . IMO Robinson was better than Ewing

We could have really used keeping Larry Smith as an assitant instead of brining in Ewings punk butt.

We need someone to teach yao how to position himself in the paint and play to the potential he has.

Kareem came out last year and said that, yao needs something like a sky hook and he would be unstopable, and that he would love to teach the big guy the hook. But who knows what will come out of that conversation.

Doesn't look like anyone has said anything to him in the past year about it so it's probably just a dream.

That's hilarious, 30 votes, and not one person voted to keep Ewing.

Once we are at 100 or so, someone should print this out and send it as a petition to Les Alexander! :D

Too bad the assistant coaches are picked by the head coach and probably he is the only one that can really fire and hire them.

I don't know anything about Ewing as a coach, nor do I know much about the rest, and I'd be shocked if anybody else did not in the org.

He could use a summer w/Pete Newell if he's still alive; other than that I don't know.

If I'm not mistaken, Kareem Adul Jabbar is a coach for a school in New York. (Probably a college)

I remembered Pete Newell salivating over Yao's potential in the year he was drafted. In his mind, Yao can be his masterpiece of work if Yao is training with him.

In a year or two, Shaq will be available. He would be the perfect mentor for Yao. :D

I think of all the former great centers, Walton would be the best to coach Yao, cause he seems to be the most interested. Other than that, who says we have to hire a former big man to be a big man coach... why can't we find someone that could really teach Yao how to thrive down low and teach him well, whether he's a former great (or even player at that) or not. Anybody could do a better job than Ewing especially since I have no idea what the hell Ewing has even done for Yao.
