Much like Pandora, finetune is another great audio site. At finetune you can create your own playlists (has to be at least 45 songs and only 3 songs per artist), Pretty nice flash interface as well. Once you have created your playlist, you can embed your flash player onto any blog page. Anyone use this? http://www.finetune.com
how can this be legit? if I had a blog where I got 1,000 hits a day and every visitor could listen to 45 songs of my chosing who is going to pay the royalties?
Rocket River? Is that you? That's a great site, but I can't seem to get the player connected. Keeps telling me it's unavailable and to try again soon.
That sometimes happens, but not too often. Finetune is a really great way to make mix tapes and find new artists. What surprises me more than anything is the lack of buffering streamed from their flash player. My guess is, is that this is probably too new and doesn't have the server stain that it could have. But it was voted as one of Time's top 10 best websites of 2006.
