Hello. My friend and I went out yesterday, and on our way out, he brought a cassette that was sent to him when he was in the Army. It was 13 years old, and was an absolute hoot to listen to. Heard a lot of High school gals that I lost touch with. That said, I'd like to try and contact some of them. Unfortunately, this is proving more difficult than I thought, so I figured someone here may know. So, is there a good place to try and find people phone numbers who seem to be lost?
Some schools set up there own alumni websites. Try a search for your schools alumni sites. I signed up at several and actually had a friend, that I hadn't heard from in over 25 years, find my email on an alumni site and got in touch with me.
Call her mom and pa or knock on their door. More often than not they still live in the same place. Write a letter to her old residence or parents. Post office will try to forward it sometimes. Parents will forward the letter. Highschool and College Alumni/interents is always the best option. Try to contact her old friends.
I'm not trying that hard. I saw her a couple of years ago bartending in Houston. Don't know what she's up to, now.
Wow aint that the truth ... I typed my name in Google (I have a VERY common name) and the second hit on the list was a link to my profile on another forum that I am registered at.
i would recommend friendster.com and also just asking around. I dont know how familiar you are with friendster but its a way alot of people get back in touch. I've found alot of old friends on there.. worth a shot. its kind of like networking online. but networking and asking around in real life is still the best alternative. J i also like classmates.com you only get their email addy but its a start.
