If the Lakers play some D, I think they might have a shot at pulling this one out. PP's health is also a concern.

I predict the Lakers will win, maybe convincingly.

I predict that if the Celtics don't win, the Lakers might.
However, if the Lakers fail to win, there's a great chance that the Celtics will steal a victory. It all depends who scores more points. If the Celtics play great D, I think the Lakers will have trouble scoring enough points to win.

    Smartass indeed!

I predict this thread stays on topic, instead of calling people haters for offering honest commentary on the game. Celtics in a close one.

Its going to be a series of home court advantage. Each team wins at home but loses away, setting up a game 7 win for the Celtics. Just to throw that out there, Kobe is averaging only 22PPG on 40% when playing in the Finals. Not exactly stellar numbers for the greatest player to ever touch the ball. Especially on the biggest stage in the game.

for all the talk of kobe being on mj's level, he's GOT to show up big tonight. history will not look kindly upon his legacy if he is continues his mute play. granted he isn't the reason that they lost, in fact he would be about the fifth thing to fix from game 1.

whoever wins the rebounding will win the game. i feel like this is going to be boston.

i predict if Sam Cassell has a good half and takes a charge from Kobe on D, no one here will mention it. The newbs have this fantasy that Vujacheck or Fisher will be on the Rockets next year so they keep drinking that Laker Kool Aid.

Celtics doesn't impress much. They are very much beatable. If Kobe shows up tonight, Lakers win. This series, one game so far, also shows how ineffective Gasol is.

If I have to put money on it, I predict a laker win tonight.

Are there any updates on Pierce and Perkins? I haven't seen anything yet (haven't really looked).

    ANother Sam sighting.

I hope the newbies keep dreaming, because neither one can really help us, Fisher is too old, Vujacic can come here and be put on the bench by Rafer Alston and start helping us lose by missing critical shots against the Lakers.

Bill Russell is totaly ruining the pregame show. I mean he's pretty much entitled to, but it's hilarious how he doesn't give a damn about the production itenerary.
