http://www.gamespot.com/video/946196/6190556/fight-night-round-4-release-announcement-interview CANT WAIT For you lazy people maybe up to 40 fighters? (EA has 40 under license)...TYSON WILL BE IN IT
i'd have to agree. the game was basically real. they were pretty impressive on ps2 also. seems like EA puts in a lot of work into the game. Even knockout kings on ps1 was a quality game
HELL YA! I love Fight Night. When I stopped playing Round 3 a few months ago I was ranked #42 in the world on the PS3. I got so sick of people looking at your record and ducking out and having to set up a new game... I would literally do this for thirty minutes before someone would fight me. I wonder if Diego Corrales will be in the game. I wouldn't even care if they didn't improve the graphics. In fact, as long as they change the monotonous training in career mode I will be happy.
http://www.gamespot.com/video/94425...esents-prizefighter-on-the-spot-05-08-08-demo this game should hold you over. looks like it has potential, but im sure fight night will be 10 times better. EA has never disappointed with fight night
yeah. i agree. the career mode can improve too. i liked where they were going with the rivarly fights, but they need to fix that. it's not much of a rivarly if i kick "Master of Disasters" ass everytime.
Screw Fight Night, It's all about Don King's Prizefighter!! <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/f0KR-OmfkKI&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/f0KR-OmfkKI&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
i already linked it above. training looks fun, but no cutman? i need cutman. i like how lampley and steward on annoucning though.
If FNR3 load times weren't horrible on the ps3 version, I would play it a lot more. I tried playing online a few times and got owned.
I played the hell out of r3 on my 360, and my friend of mine is addicted to it right now. I enjoyed beating his ass when he challenged me. Looking forward to this.
Has anybody here considered actually going out and putting some boxing gloves on getting in a ring and actually boxing? I mean with the time and money invested in playing the video game you could actually join a gym and get into a Gold Gloves boxing program.
i box every tuesday and thursday. it's actually really fun. there are ppl all ages. different sizes..... you should come. the first lesson is free. its' off I10 east. elite boxing gym edit: the time i put in playing call of duty.....i could actually join the army and shoot real people. it's just a game.i do it to relax after work. you gotta some energy to go out and take boxing lessons.
The only thing that would worry me is that EA Chicago is no longer doing the games since they got shut down a while back. EA Canada is in charge of the franchise now, although they probably don't have to do too much in order to make a good game. It seems like EA Chicago did most of the hard work. I will say the new animation system sounds interesting. That was one of the things I didn't like about FNR3. I think the animation was even downgraded from the real-time tech demo they showed years ago. It would be nice to get back to that level or even better. Of course, I'm not really that interested in boxing games, but I liked checking out the visuals of FNR3. I might check out the new one if it sounds like they improved the career mode. I was once addicted to one of the older EA boxing games (one of the Knockout Kings games, can't remember which), so it would be interesting to try out the genre again.
What time are you there? I'll go and check it out soon. I've been wanting to get into boxing for a few years now.
They've already had a few UFC games, and a "next-gen" version is currently in development IIRC. Not sure if there have been any others though. There might have been a few released in Japan-only (Pride?).
I haven't bought a Fight Night game since the XBOX version. They all felt the same to me. However, the reason I'm buying Round 4: Mike Tyson. EA just stole 2K and Don King's video game thunder with one announcement. The rest of the boxing games don't matter anymore. On another note, I remember that UFC trailer for the 360 and PS3. I can't wait for that game either. But judging from past UFC games, they have A LOT of work to do with the control scheme.
