    better than adding a couple guys who gonna get cut the following season...But it is a step in the right direction..(for whoever takes over his spot)

    I think people thought cutting PayMeRick was a step in the right direction too. It's only a step forward if you replace him with someone better.

    cutting andre davis is a 100% money savings

    could get bob sanders cheaply maybe? Though other franchises will probably aim to do that

    3.56 million for Eugene Wilson. Cheap ass Texans paying too much money for bad talent and not willing to spend it on good FA's.

    I wonder how the SB gets handled. Does it count towards 2010 and just disappear? Or split 50/50 with the 2011 cap.

    Anyway, hopefully this goes towards the funds of a certain cornerback on the market. If the Texans just pocket the savings or give it to some other retread, it would still be a lateral move.
