That would suck hardcore. It's crazy how late into PS3's development cycle these FF games are coming out...I hope they are epic. RC, how long do you think it will be until the PS4 comes out?

By the time this game comes out, we'll be playing on Playstation 4's and XBox 720's.

If they want to stick to this business plan (don't release DQ and FF in the same year), DQX or Versus won't be out until 2012...in Japan. And that doesn't take into account any other big releases they may factor into these plans (FF Agito, Kingdom Hearts, etc.). That seems crazy to me. Versus would be released 6+ years after they announced and released screens for it. Great way to kill interest and hype for their games...of course, I'll be purchasing these games on day one and (hopefully) enjoying every hour of it.

Don't really understand their business decisions sometimes. They're also trying to buy Eidos for ~$120M, which I guess makes sense given their desire to appeal to Western gamers, but I would think they could get something better for that kind of money. Granted, Eidos has a lot of nice IPs, but...it's Eidos.

Too early to tell. To make things more difficult, with the global economy, the troubles at Sony, and the success of a system like the Wii, it would be more difficult than usual to predict when they'd want to start prepping the PS4 for release. I'm guessing they won't be the first to start the transition though. I'd start checking things out around 2011 or so. Might start hearing rumors in 2010 though.

Sony might be in the early-to-middle stages for a PSP2 though. That could give us some idea into what they're planning with the PS4.

I can't WAIT to hear his English voice. I'm imagining a Wayans brother.
