Looks like a fun movie with the right amount of weirdness to keep it interesting.

 

I remember them talking about this.

They had a really intense love scene that Joseph had to town down just to get it out of the NC-17 rating.

You already know he got everything he could get being the writer/director/producer/actor lol

I saw the premier at sxsw. Great movie. Great performance by jgl and rest of the cast

 

Trailer made me laugh and I like JGL so I'll watch.

 

Will probably watch. Something I can definitely relate too.

Speaking of which, why do women despise men who watch teh pr0nz? I've never had any problem with this with my gf's. Albeit, they probably only think I watch it once in a blue moon or something.

I think they believe you're thinking about the chicks in the movie while doing it with them, or that you masturbate to it and don't save your ejaculation for them. I don't have that problem at all, but I know.

If you guy want to see some serious acting chops go rent 'Mysterious Skin.' He was good in Looper too but it's more of the script and the directing than it is his acting skills.. Other than that, the guy is pretty average at best though. Don't even bring up the Dark Knight Rises, the least memorable performance in the film.

You forgot the part where I said Mysterious Skin? Never said I wasn't gonna see this movie. I've seen just about every JGL movie except for the one where he's on a bike delivering a package or something Rush???

 

He also had a great performance in "Hersher." Very underrated movie. Not to mention solid roles in both "50/50," and "500 Days of Summer."

I saw this one at SXSW. Had high expectations...didn't live up to it. Not funny. Awful dialogue. Stilted story. Scarlett Johanssen's character is incredibly one-dimensional (as are a number of the secondary characters). Other than being centered around a 'taboo' subject, very little originality.

Premium Rush ruined JGL for me

 

Saw this at Sundance when it was still called Don Jon's Addiction. I'm sad to say that it was pretty disappointing. Neither character makes you cheer for them; he's a p*rn addict, she's Jersey trash. Maybe they could work as secondary characters as part of a larger ensemble but it just didn't click. This movie probably doesn't get made if not for JGL's name. On top of that, he didn't show up for the Q&A for his own directorial debut. That doesn't show a whole lot of faith in the product. Meh, Redbox it. It's not terrible.
