ive kinda been out of the loop for a while but i was looking for a good program to use for downloading songs (individual songs not albums that i would get off torrents). ive used limewire before and even far back to winmx... limewire seems to be not the same and im not even sure if winmx is still around much less still getting as many hits as before.

so what are yall using for this purpose? thanks in advance

lol, its prob. illegal, but no one has cracked down on it for some reason. I've never used it myself, but I know alot of ppl swear by it.

I looked it up but couldnt find any of the songs I am interested in. Has anyone tried iMesh? They are supposed to have 15 million songs, free downloads and guarantees no spyware or viruses. Ive heard good things about them but I havent used them before.

I use mostly WASTE. Get some friends together and start your own private file sharing network. It's not as easy to use or get started using as some of the others, so find some computer geek friends to start with.

    info and download at http://waste.sourceforge.net/

With torrents, you can select the song you want and not download the rest of the album.

Just get Limewire Pro from a Torrent site.. Do not d/l the free Limewire program that is out there because it contains some malware/spyware. But the Pro is legit and really easy to use. Just make sure to scan your files everytime you d/l becuase you really never know what they contain.

I've d/l thousands of music files ( only for sampling then I delete it ;) ok RIAA members )

I've used Ares for a while without any problems or soul seek.
