I thought we have a little fun since the NCAA tournament is going on right now. Who do you think will win the whole tournament. There might be a possible upset I don't know. If you think I messed up on the seeding you should know that some teams won their conference tournament which boosted their ratings up. Pick 1 through 10 on the poll on who you think will win the whole thing. Lets be honest I can only put 10 poll options and no one should pick 11 through 16 as winners if your a Rockets fan. Bracket (1) Ron Artest and Joey Dorsey vs (16) AK47 and Sasha Vujacic (2) Stephen Jackson and Zach Randoplh vs (15) Anderson Varejao and Pau Gasol (3) Kenyon Martin and Nene vs (14) Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Terry (4) Matt Barnes and Ben Wallace vs (13) Derek Fisher and Kobe (5) Carmelo and J.R Smith vs (12) Lebron and Kyle Korver (6) Boozer and K. Perkins vs (11) TMAC and Garnett (7) Shaq and Earl Boykins vs (10) Dwight Howard and J.J Reddick (8) Kyle Lowry and Nate Robinson vs (9) Andrew Bynum and Ilgaskas
Artest/Dorsey vs Boozer/Perkins would be epic. Would also like to see Artest/Dorsey vs Sjax/Randolph.
I'll give it two fights maximum, before Stephen Jackson pulls out his Glock and clears these MOFOs out.
..but for real, Ron Ron has that "can't get right" look about him...any minute now..he's capable of, of, of...something
I like this thread idea...something new. Anyway, why didn't you pair Lowry with Scola??? That would have been awesome!
Teddy Atlas frequently argues that the other sport athletes who would make the best boxers are not football players, but basketball players, since they tend to have better conditioning and more hand eye coordination, lateral movement, reaction time, etc which is more important in boxing than the brute strength and speed required in football.
I thought this was corny at first. The double-thread posts didnt help. Though after looking at the teams and matchups, i see its decently thought out I'd like to see Darko in the tourney. He'll either fold like a punk, or get a screw loose in his head and do damage. James Johnson with the Bulls is actually an MMA trained fighter. Thats almost unfair.
