FIBA ruled that players may play overseas during lockout

    This seems to be in accordance with most of what I'm hearing. I think in terms of a business model, I think players do an And-1 tour type of thing, basically have teams that play exhibitions across the globe against top teams. Sort of like Man-U playing the MLS all-stars. I would say they create about 10 teams that travel through Europe and Asia. It gives some teams a chance to run against top NBA talent without disrupting the season too much. For players, it gives them a chance at some revenue without having to look for a team that's willing to sign them then have to give them up when NBA season stars.
