It's hard to be the focal point of a team, to be moved onto the bench, I think this is the dilemma for alot of these stars from overseas.

Parker, Calderon, Belinelli, Turkoglu, Udrih, Rodriguez, Barea, Beaubois.

Yeah, NO European guards can adapt to the NBA.

He definitely doesn't fit into the portland offense, hes pretty much being used as a spot up 3 point shooter only, what a waste.

Don't really watch much of Portland, but what is Fernandez's game?

Penetrator, shooter, moves without the ball, what?

He is an excellent fit for Adelman's offense. A long slasher with an excellent jumpshot coming off the screens.

Ya but the last thing I want is another wing player who whines and cries.

I would bring him to the rockets, he is a dead eye shooter, plus playing with lowry off the bench with up tempo style next season, I think he fits perfectly.

Fernandez would fit quite well here.

I just don't know if we have room with Martin, Ariza, Budinger, and Battier.

    We don't.

    Yao / Hayes
    Scola / Hill
    Ariza / Battier
    Martin / Budinger
    Brooks / Lowry

Andersen, Taylor, a couple of draft picks, and Jeffries will get playing time if someone is injured.

Yeah, last offseason, I really wanted him. But now that we have Budinger blossoming, I don't think we need him anymore. But yes, Fernandez would fit real well with Adelman's style.

I always thought Rudy would be a great fit for Houston that is until we got Kevin Martin and the emergence of C-Bud. He'd be a nice insurance policy to Kevin Martin...actually I take that back... not really cause he's a liability himself in terms of injuries. Regardless, we wouldn't be able to give him the type of minutes he's looking for.

He'd be a nice fit for Golden State if they get rid of Monta or he could go play in Toronto the mecca of soft Euro's.

That's politically correct response that he's happy with his teammates is garbage . He doesn't want to make it worse since they're going to be in the playoffs after all. And you can tell he's really displeased with being used as a pure spot up shooter by his coach. Here's something I saw which may have started the chemistry issues Rudy is definitely having.

I was watching a Blazers game, they were two points down, and there were only a couple minutes left. But it wasn't Roy that took the next few shots but Rudy, who tried to score one-on-one the next couple possessions and fails. Next, there's a fastbreak, Roy drives down the center, passes up to Rudy who hits the 3, timeout.

What happens next is really interesting. There's no audio but Rudy immediately turns to LaMarcus Aldridge angrily and seems to be going like "Yeah, what now?" then points to his ear. I'm guessing that means Rudy, after he took those bad shots, heard Aldridge (plus possibly his other teammates?) talking trash about him and Rudy's saying "I can HEAR you, you know." And then at the next timeout, you know how everyone from the bench gives the court players high fives as they come off? Well Aldridge tries to give him the standard high five but Rudy intentionally ignores him off as if to say, "F#$% off man". Aldridge looks like he feels awkward while Rudy still looks pissed off.

It would be incredibly sad if Rudy didn't at least go to another NBA team because it's clear he has the talent. The problem is, with the Blazers, they're really deep and that limits Rudy. The few times when he does get the ball, you can see the fire in his eyes that wants to do more, he wants to be a star.

For sure, judging by his comment of saying how he was all alone on his birthday.

He's gonna get major minutes in the playoffs if Roy is out with his knee injury. He might actually start.
