It's OK. The VA is known for its ability to solve problems.

At best, extremely poor mismanagement from this admin. At worse, something fishy has been going on with all of this fed “confiscating” ppe from hospitals and cities.

If they were saying where it was going when "confiscated" that would be sufficient for me. We're not hearing a damn thing about where these things are being routed to.

based on comments from this admin...

Into the national stockpile to be redirected as the admin sees fit

into private distributors that “sell” it back to hospitals, state, cities at a higher price

into a black box that no one really know

    all of the above

I find it’s amazing that this has been going on for weeks and we still don’t know ...

I wonder how much gets exported. And since they funnel it to private companies, there is no trace.

This needs to be investigated, and the people behind it thrown in jail.

    FU!!!!

I have brothers and sisters who have given their all for this country and what have you done???

The VA helps and provides my brothers with mental and health issues that we can't get any where else.... They understand what we have gone thru and what we are going thru...

When we go out on a mission it's not a blue or red thing.. It's a RED WHITE AND BLUE thing... It's me protecting my brother and him protecting me... And now you think it's ok that your Orange God can do what he likes and take things away from my brothers and treat us like low level crap...

It's people like you and with your attitude that piss me off...

    Bless their sacrifices.

Now follow the "CoC" and stay silent. Don't be like that stupid idiot Navy Captain who revealed classified secrets to the Enemy Media if you know what's good for you!

I have made my own sacrifices for this country and my life is none of your business. I have held jobs that were contributing to society beyond what you could imagine. Soldiers are great but don't go acting like you are above civilians. People like me who are critical of VA waste and corruption, the people who pay for those services, are exactly why those services improve and exist in the first place. Soldiers deserve respect but the ones who act like entitled assholes deserve a fraction of that. Which are you?

Also tell me what war did you fight that saved us? What major enemy did you slay? Or did your generation's hero antics just create more of a mess? Real special... invading countries that don't even have an airforce. That is like being proud of beating up a kid in a wheelchair. While we need soldiers, a little humility is in order from them as well, considering.

It should be and it needs to be corrected. But is this even getting much attention from the national media or Congress? It has been weeks and I haven't seen much attention on it.

Yeah this story has been really under reported.

Will be interesting to see when everything shakes out.

So we have idiots complaining about opening up the states, yet there is not a peep about the Federal government confiscating PPE equipment from states and private companies.

Why is this not considered gov overreach?

This needs to be addressed at one of these press briefings.

Making a customer a special request of unsalted fries is not a sacrifice for the country.

I'm the one that goes out into enemy territory to retrieve pilots when they go down... the one that that retrieves seals, recon and rangers so that they can complete their mission... the one that will sacrifice his life to save his brotha life... the one that believes in GOD, Country, Family and Service... The one that sacrifices his life to entitle your unappreciated Ass to have the opportunity to freedom...

    So that's who I am...

I'm glad you have a job where you can show up someone you argue with on the Internet. It's a good card for someone who wasn't able to make it in academics and learn how to think. Before you go running your mouth, you should check your attitude at the door. You give the good honorable soldiers a bad name. Your move is an ******* move. You don't want someone to call you out on it? Don't act like a kid. And if you're wondering why you haven't been promoted as much as you want, look at these posts and reflect on why people don't respect you.

He's a great man, really one of the best, some things he's done you wouldn't believe, people don't believe when I tell them the things he's done, but it's true it's all true, some would say..hero, some would say..divine, he's really been terrific to this country and more importantly to me in many many ways, so many very big and very important ways. But all in all, yes I ask him not to salt the fries, love the ketchup with the fries, so many do, KETCH-up, a sauce that's very popular, very good, the salt changes the flavor. not good.

I had to press the unignore button to see who would be talking crap to a fellow vet...and I'm just amazed at the outright entitlement that poster displays. I love how they even attack you about the wars that were fought while we were in...like you or I had a choice in the matter. It's not like we get a say so on where we deploy or who we fight...we go where we're told.

But, whatever, I'm sure they'll garner tons of support by attacking vets...always a good hill to die on.
