From ESPN Minnesota Timberwolves guard Felipe Lopez will miss the season after tearing a ligament in his left knee. Lopez injured the knee in the first quarter of Saturday night's 95-83 exhibition loss to the Boston Celtics in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Lopez charged into Boston's Paul Pierce and twisted awkwardly. An MRI done Sunday revealed that his medial collateral and anterior cruciate ligaments are torn.
