[Feigen] What kind of guy is he?

I understand that these people feel they need to get a story, but they need to show a little class.

 

Carl isn't Carmelo. If this happened to Carmelo, that question doesn't even need to be asked.

 

Hopefully the media gets it right and puts the truth out there. Carl Landry is a good kid, this was a case of random, senseless violence that could have happened to anyone. There's no need for them to spin it into something else.

 

Landry was simply a victim of a random act of violence and could have easily lost his life. Yet, somehow the media is trying to spin him as a thug.



Oh, yes. This picture is definitely screaming, "THUG LIFE!"

 

Get that offensive thug-life picture out of here, some people read this at work!

 

Carl is a great person. From Wisconsin too, so you know he's not a trouble maker.

I'm glad he's alive and I hope they finds those thugs and arrest them ASAP.

 

I spend most of my time thinking and commenting that Fran is a bit of a moron, but he seems to have, at least on this occasion, stood up and done the right thing.

 

landry is wholesome. but he needs to move to sugar land or katy and buy some cold cuts--late, late, late at night, eat at home landry!

 

Obviously, none of us REALLY know Carl Landry, but it sure seems like he's a modest guy and the kind of guy who meets Houston teams "non-trouble maker" standards. I wonder if they really mistook him for someone else, or if he was the target from the beginning. Maybe they figured they could grab a Rolex and a wallet full of cash. It's amazing what scumbags will do for a little bit of money. I've always joked....if I'm going to risk serious prison time, I'm robbing a bank or something else that will pay off in the millions. It blows my mind that we constantly read about lowlifes who kill a clerk for $23.

Anyway, kinda got off topic. I think Landry is a good guy. I hope they catch the perps and we find out what their motiff was.....and then bury them under the jail. I can't wait to hear how loud the home crowd gets when Carl is introduced in his first game back. Hang in there Carl.

 

Yeah move to that area. You know, some off the biggest dope dealers live in Katy and sugarland. People can't escape, it just happens.

 

Nice try. Just because they deal doesn't mean there's ANY sort of comparable crime rate there.

Carl Landry is the perfect example of what a young rich athlete should be. He is the farthest from Thug life. All our players are; well Artest is just Crazy but still.

It figures that a tool like Gottlieb who couldn't make it to the NBA would try to call Landry out as if he was some kind of thug. He sucked in college; nice to know that Gottlieb sucks as a human being too.
