You act like the people of Iran have not been aware for the last 30 years that this is a puppet regime. The problem is not with the willingness to do this on the inside. The problem is what happened to Iran from the outside. The last thing they need is people telling them "yes, yes, I've been wondering why you haven't done this before, and I'm glad you became smarter - like me - and decided to do it now! Wohoo!" Since puppets don't live on their own, who's the puppet master?
Are you saying they don't want Western governments influencing their government, and would rather live with the evil they already know?
How do you know, from a religious standpoint, that many Iranians don't feel that Western culture is full of "evils?" While it is obvious that some are extremely dissatisfied with the current government, I have doubt as to whether they want to have essentially a western puppet government.
A figurative lesser evil....like how some Americans would choose one party over the other despite not liking politicians from both sides.
