are talking the Johnny Depp/Benecio Del Toro Fear and Loathing? If so, classic.

It was directed by Terry Gilliam, no?

Just awesome, trippy too. Johnny Depp does a really good HST and Benecio as his lawyer is over the top...

Have you seen Where the Buffalo Roam with Bill Murray?? pretty good.

Agreed. It is a great movie if you are inebriated, alcoholically or chemically. If your sober, it just isn't as funny.

I watched it completely sober and thought the scene where they were on the mescaline or whatever and were going to the circus casino was pretty damn funny.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half-full of cocaine and a whole galaxy of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of Budweiser, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. But the only thing that worried me was the ether. There is nothing more irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we would be getting into that rotten stuff sooner or later.

Read the book ...much better..as always.

Ether! I think that's what they were on in that scene I was describing above.

Fear and Loathing is one of the funniest, most enjoyable, and best books I've read. The movie was pretty good, but READ THE DAMN BOOK. Hunter S. Thompson is a fantastic author.

That movie was an all out riot and kinda of a view on what happens when you are that screwed up on drugs.

My favorite scene when hes in the car driving and he starts seeing hallucinations of bats flying using a flyswatter to swat them off.

This is the type of movie you buy and keep it Johnny depp alone anything he makes is well worth keeping.
From hell was a very good movie as well
