David Griffin is taking a lot of pressure off Zion in his first season. Really good g.m.ing going on in N.O.
If Zion lives up to even half the hype, you’re probably right. They’re doing some serious team building.
They probably did want him, but they spent on good money on Bogdanovic and took on Conley's big contract. Favors is good but you can't pay everybody. Redick and Favors are great pickups for NO.
If you rank Houston and NO's players in order of talent/value, Harden's obviously first, but probably six of the next seven are Pelicans. We all just saw the Finals - a deep, versatile team full of long athletic defenders generally trumps one or two great players.
The Rockets are better than the Pelicans. I know it's been a rough weekend, but let's not lose our minds. Rockets will contend this season, despite the lack of talent. Harden is right at his prime and will carry this team once again.
Well it was a chance to “go for it”. Who they playing at PF now? Or backup center? Favors had something like a 123 Ortg and 103 Drtg and was even better in the playoffs.
Ed Davis. Definite downgrade from Favors overall, but Jazz knew they had to give Mitchell more help on offense to seriously compete. They're going to be very interesting.
