Now that Tupac has proved he's the best rapper ever, lets share our favorite Pac tracks. Here are my top ten. 1.) Starin Through my Rearview 2.) Me and My Girlfriend 3.) Hit Em Up 4.) California Love 5.) Troublesome 96 6.) My Block 7.) Hail Mary 8.) When We Ride on our Enemies 9.) Dear Mama 10.) Thugz Mansion
Everything before 1996. I love his thoughtful and introspective stuff. Dear Mama Too many tears brenda's got a baby etc. all that gangsta **** after CA Love was good to listen to, but lyrically I hated it.
Man, I swear to you - seriously - I was just about to start this same thread. I was going to call it something like 'Your ultimate Tupac collection' ~ I want to put together a comp album and i'm not really wanting to wade through all the filler. So keep the recommendations coming especially b-sides and early material.
I don't get it. Did he really have a song named like that? I like "How do you want it, how does it feel... coming up like a n*gg* in a casket, feeling like a casket, mighty real... " man I love that song.
It's called Me and My Girlfriend. the 96 bonnie and clyde. Great ****ing song and he's not talking about a girl.
Good call with #1, moe. Here's my list: 1.) Starin Through my Rearview 2.) Troublesome 96 3.) Hit Em Up 4.) Hearts of Men 5.) Brenda's Got a Baby 6.) Lil' Homies 7.) Hellraiser 8.) Ghost 9.) The Realest Killaz (with 50 Cent) 10.) California Love

since I dont know jack about him outside of his time with Digital Underground...I have to go with Same Song I think that is the name of it...it was the one they did in the movie Nothing but Trouble
Great thread moe! I love "Me and My Girlfriend" too, it is awesome how he uses the metaphors in that song, most people I talk to don't realize that he is talking about a gun. There are too many to name that I enjoy.
