I just had a 2 hours email discussion with my 6 best friends about wrestling. I love Fridays. Anyhow we were talking about who our favorite tag teams were from wrestling. None of us watch it now but we loved it back in the day. Here are some pics to bring you back down memory lane The Rockers (man they looked ghey) Demolition Strike Force (I loved them before Rick Martel turned bad) and my Buddy's favorite The Legion of Doom Honorable mention The Islanders Rock and Roll Express Natural Disasters
Brit. Bulldogs were great Heart foundation was medocre as a team but brett shined later in his carrer. (after I stopped watching)
Sorry Harrisment...I gotta go with this Midnight Express... The tennis racket was so ahead of its time!!! And dayum!!!!...mullets are cool!!!
Killer Bees. Especially with the masks. Especially when Koko B Ware would team up with them, cuz Jesse Ventura would inevtiably say something like "I think I know which one is Koko"
Weren't they known as The Road Warriors???? Doesn't matter, they pale in comparison to the greatest duo ever. Dr. Death and Ted DiBiase.
I was always a big fan of Demolition. "Here comes the Ax.. and here comes the Smasher The Demolition, walking disasters.."
The Sheepherders! Gary Young, a Houston Wrestler at the Colusieum, and a friend of the families, took me back stage to meet those dudes and they were truly wacked out. The sheepherder dance was a great dance to imitate when drunk back in the early 90's.
Haha... gotta love the nod to the old timers (Dibiase and Death). I don't follow wrestling much anymore, but when I think tag team and bad ass, I think : The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom (they were even badder as the Road Warriors) A combo that was just as bad-ass that didn't get off the ground much was Undertaker and Kane. I still hate the fact they turned Kane from some supernatural being into a giant Elmer Fudd on a rampage.
The Outsiders - Scott Hall/Kevin Nash Brothers of Destruction - Undertaker/Kane Money Inc. - Ted Dibiase/IRS Dream teams I LOVED that didn't stick together very long: The Rock/Owen Hart Steve Austin/Triple H Hulk Hogan/Shawn Michaels
