i'm just wondering who to read for a knowledgeable and interesting read. there's so much crap out there. personally, i like all the SI guys - but i find that i need more sports read than just them. i mean, i probably read all their articles 5 or 6 times over. i like marty burns' material quite a bit. who are your favorite sports/basketball writers?
I like David Aldridge, Jack McCallum, Marty Burns, Michael Wilbon, Tony Kornheiser (even though he hates YAO), Norm Chad (hilarious!), Ric Bucher (getting better every year), Eric Neel, Bill Simmons and the late great Ralph Wiley.
I don't like many of the national guys. I wish Eddo Sefko hadn't left the Chronicle and went to Dallas. Their gain was our loss.
