Everyone from Texas has to have a favorite spot for Southern-American Food. My favorite spots are Mel's Burgers in Tomball and Rudy's BBQ. Rudy's Ribs are amazing, while the atmosphere, location and food of Mel's are very good. What are your favorite Southern food spots?

Mel's is awesome. If you live in Tomball, try Sawmill Grill over in Magnolia.

Catfish Hole in Alma, Arkansas (or Fayetteville) for catfish.
Babe's in Sanger, Garland, or Frisco, Texas for fried chicken or chicken fried steak. (Honorable mention to Mary's in Strawn, Tx. if you just want to kill yourself eating one)
Leo's BBQ in OKC, Oklahoma for BBQ ribs.
Snow's BBQ in Lexington, Tx. for BBQ brisket.
Broiler Burger in Bellaire/Houston, Tx. for a greezy suicidal burger (haven't eaten there in over a decade).
North Main BBQ in Euless, Tx. if you want to die eating a BBQ buffet (the brisket and ribs there vary from really good to meh depending on how lucky you are)

I'm always looking for neat out of the way places outside of major towns that offer good southern food. Anything other than the usual chain tex-mex crap I see everywhere.
