A Rapper that is talking about something . . .. like social Comentary Public Enemy would be my all time favorite Though Death Certificate was probably my favorite album with a message Tupac and Kris Parker [KRS ONE] are high on this list Honorable Mentions Kill My Landlord - by the Coup great start to finish The 1st Album by THE GOATS Rocket River
the beastie boys are on the top of my list. when i was a teenager growing up, their music allowed me to open my mind on certain subjects, from racism to politics. some of my favorites are MCA's "Bodhisattva vow", the personal vows one takes to reach enlightenment when studying buddhism. "When others disrespect me and give me flack, i stop and think before i react..." another is "Alive", a newer release that was on their best of album, "sounds of science" "Dip Dip Dive, so-socialize, open up your ears and clear out your eyes, if you learn to love you're in for a surprise, it could be nice to be alive..."
I think its 2pac... speaking of him isnt tommorw the day he is supposed to come back supposely by the the 7 year theory?
2Pac's "2Pacalypse Now" was a great social commentary album. Michael Franti (sp?) is supposed to be very good, but I've only heard one of his songs. Oh, and on the 2pac return date -- he was shot on September 7th, 1996. He "died" on the 13th. He's supposed to return seven years after his death, thus it's Sept. 13th 2003 when he returns. Personally, I think 2pac is still alive and will return as planned.
It's just a whole bunch of things involving 2pac and his death that comes down to the number 7. I can't really remember all of it so I'll let somebody else explain.
I like pac too but he aint coming back, some people just need to let it go. besides that i'll be too busy watching the De La Hoya-Mosley 2 bout
Here is the theory!Someone has alot of times on their hand to have typed this up and done the research If any or all of it is true. Rearrange the letters in the album title "Makaveli the Don Killuminati the 7 Day Theory" You can make the sentence "Ok, on the 7th u think i'm dead yet i'm really alive" Also, the executive producer listed inside the album Cover Makaveli is "Simon" Simon in the Bible was a apostle Suges is also known as Simon.... hmm see what i'm getting at? THE 7 DAY THEORY CONSPIRICY -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It all started with the album title of "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory." This album was released around the time of Tupac Shakur's death. The number 7 keeps popping up now! The numerological coincidences are very strange! Check This Out... the most mysterious numerological (7) coincidences Tupac was gunned down exactly seven months after All Eyez On Me was released. He was shot on September 7th and survived on 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and died the 13th. (7 Days) Tupac Shakur was 25 years old. His age adds up to 7 (2 + 5). Even his time of death, 4:03, adds up to 7 (4 + 0 + 3). Have his brand new double album entitled "R U Still Down?"??? Well, this album was released on November 25th. 2 + 5 = 7. the other numerological (7) coincidences On track five on the Makaveli album the voice at the begining says "And if the Lord returns in the coming seven days, then we'll see ya next time." The first video released off "R U Still Down" was "Wonder If Heaven Got A Ghetto". In this video, when 2Pac & another lady go into a hotel room, they very clearly show the hotel room number of 7 on the door. Also, in the diner the clock shows 4:03. This is the time of 2Pac's death. In the movie, "Gang Related," Tupac and Belushi wait in room 7, and Tupac's badge number is 115; 1+1+5=7. Tupac breaks the mirror with the bat in the, "Toss It Up," video which is seven years bad luck. On the song, "White Man's World," if you listen very closely at the beggining, there is a voice in the background saying, " 7 years, 7 years, 7 years..." Found it on another board a while back.
My favorite political/social rappers are Nas, and Blackstar. Dead Prez is another political/social group, thats all the talk about.
despite being a rock band that is dead, Zach De LaRocha did a lot of great rhyming and was by far imo the best political artist of his time. Rage Against the Machine were simply awesome
Yeah, I honestly do. The 7 thing is an interesting part of it, but I have some other things that I find more interesting. Now, it's possible that all this is just B.S., but it's what I've read in various articles about 2Pac . . . Tupac was cremated. There are two problems with this. First is that Tupac was Muslim, and as I understand, it's against the religion to cremate someone. The second problem is that you can't cremate a body that is part of a murder investigation. Another (and I think most pertinent) point is that Tupac had a huge life insurance policy that has yet to be cashed. There are lots of other things, but those are my biggest two reasons for believing he's still alive. Now I read somewhere that on 9/13 there is going to be a remix of Tupac's "Life goes On" released . . . perhaps that has something to do with this as well?
Ok, Im a BIG pac fan too buddy but c'mon. Pac was not a muslim. Were his parents? Yea, they were black panther followers. Pac himself never really claimed anything and the closest religion he came to resembling was Christianity. He wore crosses, had tatoo's of crosses, and the whole 7 day theory, being reincarnated, that's ur re-enactment of jesus right there. I hope he comes back but it seems less and less likely everyday that it was his idea, and more and moer like it was a money making idea from Death Row Inc.
