    For me it's Mr. Show.

True, I haven't really seen any of the other shows' prime episodes in years, but I don't recall Sarah Silverman of any of them either. ;)

Late 80's-Early 90's SNL comes in a close second on my list. What an awesome cast (Miller, Myers, Lovitz, Carvey, Sandler, Farley, Rock, Hartman, Spade, etc.).

Oops. Apologies for not listing Benny Hill, Laugh-In, etc. Figured Dr of Dunk would be the only guy who remembers those. ;)

    Upright Citizens Brigade.

    Best.Ever.

Followed closely by Kids in the Hall and The State. Good times.

Monty Python is classic, if you're into that sense of humor. Otherwise, the earlier seasons of SNL are the best overall, through the first 20 or so years. But once Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Dana Carvey, Chris Farley and David Spade left, it turned to ****, IMO.

Damn, how is "In Living Color" not on that list? Also, (though I don't personally like it) MadTV.

Sorry for the omission of In Living Color as well.

    Mad TV.

It's not nearly as good now as it was a few years ago, but it's still pretty funny.

I couldn't vote. It was too close to call between Mr. Show and Monty Python. If SCTV was on the list it would be really close between all three of them.

    Mr. Show!

How I love thee. And your creepy looking show logo/mascot too.

overall I'd probly say SNL, but there have been a lot of good ones.

I liked the state, kids in the hall, benny hill(ya, sue me), in living color, and the first few years of MadTV(man has that show been in the crapper for the last few years).

SCTV was the bomb. Those skits are still crazy funny. Warped, goofy characters.

The Benny Hill Show - I loved that old bald guy that Benny was always patting on the head (with sound effects)

    The Carol Burnett Show
    SNL
Monty Pythons Flying Circus - I liked the show better than the movies

Anyone remember Bizarre? It came on at 10:30 right after Benny Hill back in the day. Like Benny, it had lots of sexual inuendo sketches. Made for a great hour of TV when you were 8 and just learning about certain things...
