I have two favorites The one Bart made Nelson bleed his own blood. It ends with..."there are no good wars except....., the Star Wars Trilogy" The Scorpio episode rocked. "business hammocks" would be so cool at work. Homer works for a nonphysicotic madman bent on ruling the world. Homer takes down Bond and coaches his division Tom Landry style. In the end its all for not as Homer quits to return to springfield at his ungrateful family's request. Without Homer at his side, Scorpio's secret hideout is over run by the Feds. All Homer gets for all his hardwork is the Denver Broncos. I'd pick scorpio as my favorite, but it so hard to pick one. What's the name of Bart's sister's aunt's pet reptile?
The one where the kids get put into a foster home, the Flanders!!! "Pa, I cut my finger on the screen door" "Why you cotton pickin"...proceeds to choke Cletus Bart-style.
I'd have to go with the one where Lisa goes vegetarian: Homer: Rock stars. Is there anything they don't know? and... The burlesque house.. The song was hilarious. Also... Belle: Are you wearing a grocery bag? Homer: I have misplaced my pants.
Any episode with Ralph! some favorite Ralph Quotes: "my cat's breath smells like cat food!" "this one tastes like burning!..." "Ahh! My face is on fire" "Soooo, do you like..... stuff?" "...and the doctor said I wouldn't have so many nosebleeds if I kept my finger out of there!" "When I grow up I want to be a principal, or a caterpillar. I love you Principal Skinner!" "When I grow up I'm going to Bovine University!" "Sleep, that's where I'm a Viking." "What's a diorama?" "I choo-choo-choose you." "what's a battle" " Teacher and Principle Skinner were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and it smiled at me " "Hi Super Nintendo Chalmers!" "That's my sandbox... I'm not allowed in the deep end." "You're funny... but not ha-ha funny." "...and the doctor said I wouldn't have so many nosebleeds if I kept my finger out of there!" "I'm learnding!" "Daddy says I'm this close to sleeping in the yard!" "I beat the smart kids, I beat the smart kids.......oops, I bent my wookie!" "Maybe she drove to the moon!" "Look Daddy, a whale egg!" "Principal Skinner is an old man who lives at the school." "Bushes are fun if they don't have prickers. This one does, ow!" "I can't believe I used to go out with you!" "My milk money... and my milk!"
Really? I don't like that one. I found Lisa to be too mean and unbearable to really be enjoyable. I certainly like parts of that episode (particularly the following exchange: Lisa: No I can't! I can't eat any of them! Homer: Wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute. Lisa honey, are you saying you're *never* going to eat any animal again? What about bacon? Lisa: No. Homer: Ham? Lisa: No. Homer: Pork chops? Lisa: Dad! Those all come from the same animal! Homer: [Chuckles] Yeah, right Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal." But Lisa justs acts like a jerk in that episode. It's not as bad as Two Bad Neighbors (with Bush) but still annoying. I think for my fav 5 episodes I'd go with: 5) Lisa's Wedding (the best Lisa epidode, which is followed closely by Summer of 4'2") 4) Brother From The Same Planet (the one where Homer gets Pepe) 3) Krusty Gets Kancelled 2) Lisa's Pony 1) The Last Temptation of Homer However, my siongle favorite Simpson's exhange comes from an episode that coulnd't quite crack my top 5, from Bart Gets An Elephant. This episode contains the best example of Homer logic in the entire series, a statement which sorta makes sense but is completely illogical. Setup for the scene, Bart won an elephant from a radio show and Marge is trying to convince Homer that it is too expensive: Marge: I really think this is a bad idea. Homer: Marge, I agree with you -- in theory. In theory, communism works. In theory."
I believe the answer is Jug Jug or something like that. Favorite episodes..geez that's tough, but they would have to include the following: 1) One where Bart breaks his leg after his family gets a pool "Grace, that sinister-looking kid is coming to kill me!" 2) Krusty vs. Gabbo, the dummy "All the kids in Springfield are SOBs!" 3) Homer, Union President "So long dental plan!" "Lisa needs braces...DENTAL PLAN...Lisa needs braces...DENTAL PLAN...(keeps going for a while)" 4) Burns and his Ringers for the Softball Team "Well, damnation Smithers! Get me some ballplayers. Search the American Leagues, the National Leagues, the Negro Leagues!" 5) X-Files Takeoff with Scully and Mulder Groundskeeper Willie: "Kill it. It wants to bring us love and peace." Smithers: "Wait, it's not an alien..it's Mr. Burns." Groundskeeper Willie: "Aw...it's Mr. Burns! Kill IT!!!" Any episode in which Comic Book Guy had a role except for the one in which he fell in love with Skinner's mom. Favorite Simpsons Quote Ever: (After Rex Banner says, "Don't crack wise with me, tubby!") Comic Book Guy: "Tubby?" (Then looks at his stomach) "Oh, yes. Tubby."
I like the pool episode too. My memory doesn't serve me to well, but one of my favorite homer jokes was when he wrapped Ned Flanders home in police/crime scene tape. Then he just sat back and watched the fun.
My favorite episode has to be where lisa and bart or anchors for news kids. the irony in that one just kills me. My favorite homer quote has to be Marge: homer slow down you are going to kill us Homer: OR die trying
Burns, sniffling, "Do you think the pollution from my plant caused those ducks to die?" Smithers, "Most likely sir." Burns, still sniffling, "Excellent."
I forgot the name of it. Hosted by Troy McClure. Some anniversary show. The earlier drawings of Krusty and Grandpa that looked like they were done by a first grader....freakin awesome!!! Also, Behind the Laughter and The Simpsons Spinoff Show.
Not my favorite, but probably the most bizarre is the Chili Cook-off episode where Homer coats his throat with candle wax so he can eat Chief Wiggims, Guatemalan insanity peppers. He starts hallucinating and sees a purple coyote with the voice of Johnny Cash. Best line from that episode comes when Marge and an impatient Homer are in the arts and crafts section of the cook-off: "C'mon Marge! Less artsy, more fartsy!"
The PTA disbands , "Prisoners in our own school" The Beer Baron , "This is the busiest Drinking day of the year , where are the designated drivers? ok get outta here . " The Telltale Heart "I bent my Wookie" Krutsy gets busted , Homer's 12 foot dive into the corn chips .
Radioactive man being played by dammit can't remember his name, " The goggles, they do nothing" as acid burns his entire body and eyes. By the way, Jug Jug and yub yub were combined to form Joe Joe. Don't ask how that works, I was drunk at the time.
Radioactive man being played by dammit can't remember his name, " The goggles, they do nothing" as acid burns his entire body and eyes. Radioactive Man was played by Rainier Wolfcastle. One of my favorite episodes was where Lisa won the essay contest and won a trip to Washington D.C. It's an old episode, but a good one.
A few of my favorite episodes are: Bart takes over the Krusty Summer Camp! The babysitter (guest star: one of the girls from Roseanne) Bart falls in love with the babysitter but the babysitter likes Jimbo Jones, Bart tells Moe that Jimbo's been making the prank calls and Moes comes to beat Jimbo up! The episode where the "angel" is found buried.. "Chew through my ball sack, Chompers" episode any of the Halloween episodes There's an older episode where Bart rounds up all the kids who have been bullied by Nelson and they train to beat up Nelson.. In one of those scenes Bart is doing roll call and he hollers out "Olajuwon!" too many to choose from... rH
That guest star would be Sara Gilbert, and it was a good one. Jimbo (crying): "Please, man, don't kill me." Moe : "Ah, I wasn't going to kill you..I was just going to cut you. Quit crying, already!" Also, liked how Bart imagined Laura taking his heart out of his chest and saying, "You won't be needing this!" and then throws into a trashcan.
Rockhead, The one were Olajuwon is in roll call is the one Nelson says"It happens all the time when some poor sap's blood splatters on me.....hey, he made me bleed my own blood" after bart hits Nelson. Nelson then beats up Bart afterschool every day till Bart goes to the Military Surplus store with Abe. The One armed vet teaches bart military strategy. With the help of the other kids, Nelson is captured and forced to sign the Treaty of Paris (or versailles). The music is great in the episode...I think it is mostly from patton. The Hellfish episode also rocks.
My favorite has got to be the "Cape Fear" episode, where Sideshow Bob comes back a second time and tries to kill Bart. There wasn't a dull moment in that entire episode: Homer: (opening the mail) Omigod someone's trying to kill me!! (Everyone runs in) Homer: Oh wait, it's for Bart. ------ Sideshow Bob: (in a van with a megaphone) The following people will not be killed by me: Ned Flanders, Maude Flanders . . . Ned: Well, isn't that nice. Sideshow Bob: (continuing) . . . Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Lisa Simpson, that little baby Simpson . . . that is all. Homer (runs into Bart's room): Hey did you hear the great news?! Oh, right. ------ Homer (in the car): Hey, you want to drive through this cactus patch? Bart: Yeah. Lisa: Yeah. Sideshow Bob (under the car): No. Homer: 2 against 1. ------ Bart: Take 'em away, boys. Wiggum: Hey, I'm the chief here. Bake 'em away, toys. Lou: What's that chief? Wiggum: Do what the kid says. ------ Wiggum: And once a man's in your home, anything you do to him is nice and legal. Homer: Oh really. (yells out window) Hey Flanders, won't you join me in my home? Wiggum: It doesn't work if you invite them. Flanders (enters): Hidely ho! Homer: Go away. Flanders (leaves): Toodely do! ------ 3 words: The rake scene. Other great episodes: Homer goes into space, Lisa becomes a Vegetarian, and the one this past week where Bart and Millhouse run Comic Book Guy's store. (CBG: "Is there a word in Klingon for lonliness. Ah yes: Garrrrdock")
