not sure if thes are really reality ........... The First 48 (not very well known, but you'd like it if you were a CSI fan) Dirty Jobs (Mike Rowe is one funny mfer) Mythbusters 30 Days
Nah. A "reality" show has to have contestants that aren't "actors" per se. Hell's Kitchen is fun, although I liked the first season better. I tend to be a reality show junkie. About the only one I refuse to watch is "Big Brother." My favorite is still the original "Survivor" series.
The only one I really watch is whatever variation of the Real World/Road Rules challenge is currently on. I'll watch Real World if I like the cast, which I don't for this season. I liked the Austin class and the one before, however.
I'm a big fan of The Mole, so I tried watching Treasure Hunters, but it couldnt keep my attention. I enjoy Last Comic Standing in the summer time. Dog Whisperer is pretty good too.
I think the best easily is The Amazing Race; though I never get around to watching it anymore. Apprentice is ok too, but it's getting stale (if not already). Project Runway and America's Next Top Model are other pretty good ones. I hate Big Brother. And Survivor got old after Season 2. Treasure Hunters is such a ripoff of both Amazing Race and National Treasure (the movie). And what's worse, the show is the most blatant example of product placement I've ever seen. And the host is horrid. There's a new reality show on BBC that is basically the opposite of Survivor; instead of eliminating contestants, they add. Intriguing, but still same old tired formula. But really, in terms of a show that is reality based...anything on Discovery or TLC pretty much beats the contestant driven subgenre. But I suppose you have to seperate the two.
I watch alot of them but my favorite has always been Eco-challenge. I used to be glued to Discovery Channel the week they aired it.
I liked when the customer complained about the wait, he was like "Look at you. I would appreciate you taking your breasts off my hot plate." and she got pissed.
