"Old school" is pretty relative. For me it would be
    1 Transformers
    2 Thundercats
    3 GI Joe
    4 He-Man
    5 Smurfs

    No particular order:

    DuckTales
    Darkwing Duck
    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
    The Real Ghostbusters
Spider-Man (if '95 is old enough)

I've almost completed my TMNT episode collection and am now working on Ghostbusters. Mirc rules!

You guys are too young. I bet some of you whippersnappers don't even remember Johnny Quest. 60's and 70's classic cartoons.

Yeah, Extreme Ghostbusters kicked ass. Good call on Talespin too. That was definitely one of my favs as a kid.

    Some others I liked:

Darkwing Duck/Rescue Rangers/Ducktales/Gummi Bears Disney Afternoon block. This just ruled. I was glued to the TV for two straight hours every weekday.

Ninja Turtles (I have every episode from the new series except number 9. I love how its darker and more mature).

The Tick. Yeah, this counts as old scool, and heilarious as hell.
    "Woah, roof-pig. Most unexpected."-Tick
    Great line. :)

Batman TAS: If you didn't watch this, you sucked. :)

Disney's GARGOYLES: Forget the disney part 'cause this was and still is one I the most mature "Saturday morning cartoons" I've ever seen.

    Tiny Toons: Inventive and funny

Animaniacs: Took Tiny Toons to a whole new level.

Transformers: Great, great cartoon. Megatron turned into a freaking gun though. That **** was so lame.

Square One. I know, not a cartoon. Doesn't change the fact that it was still great.

Care Bears. Man this show really showed kids how to care for one ano-PSYCHE! This show sucked ass.

Thundercats. Okay, sometimes entertaining, but the animation could've been better.

Captain Planet. This show was sometimes passable. I liked the characters' powers, except for that one kid with HEART. What the hell was that?! And how was that damn monkey supposed to make up for it??

He-Man. ..was gay. Poor guy was too inhibited to express himself.

That's all I can remember for now. I'll probably add some more if I think of them.

I thought Free Agent was referring to Hanna Barbera 60s type stuff. The Smurfs should never be considered old school (even if you were born after Reagan took office).

My all time fav ol school joint.........................Laff-o-lympics (the Blue Falcon was classic).
