I read an issue of 'the economist' for the first time a few weeks ago... it's actually pretty decent from an informational standpoint. However, I hope I never become the sort of guy that reads 'the economist'. Mother Jones is pretty cool. Adbusters rules. National Geographic... a sappy superficial overview of the world, but I still like it. Swank... j/k. ------------------ "Everyone I know has a big but... come on Simone, let's talk about your but."

it costs $5.00 to buy an issue of Wired at the newsstand but only $12.00 for a whole year subscription (12 issues). http://www.wired.com/wired/subscribe/special/79WH [This message has been edited by outlaw (edited October 30, 2000).]
I likes the Maxim myself. I also subscribe to Entertainment Weekly Car & Driver Automobile Forbes Movieline Business Week There are others that I like, but those are the only ones I subscribe to. And I can't think of any others off the top of my head. Oh yeah, and Playboy, but just for the articles. I used to get WIRED every month, but I found that I was buying it and never really getting around to reading it. So, I quit buying it. ------------------ Houston Sports Board The Anti-Bud Adams Page

I used to get MacWorld, but it's like eight bucks now, and it seems to get thinner every month. It just doesn't seem like good value anymore. Well, and I don't use Mac anymore, so I have far less need for it. ------------------ Houston Sports Board The Anti-Bud Adams Page
