Favorite 'Glamour' rock band of the 80s?

    If I had to choose a fav 'Glam-Rock' band from the 80s, I'd have to go with Ratt! Remember them? I just thought their song 'Round and round' was damn cool!

    *BTW, do you consider Def Leppard and Motley Crue as 'Glam-Rockers'? I never did, but they'd be at the top of my list if they were!

    Def Leppard was actually a part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, along with bands like Motorhead and Judas Priest. Of course they didn't really sound anything like those bands though. Also Motley Crue brought back the 'glam' look in the 80s (borrowing from Alice Cooper, NY Dolls, KISS, etc), and then were pretty much imitated by a number of bands. I don't consider either of the two to be a "hair band".

    I think they are more Goth-esque.

    Robert Smith did wear some mascara make up.
