What is your favorite comedy series on TV? I have been watching the Ali-G DVD's lately. I love that show. Its hilarious, partly because its comedy mixed with reality. The characters that Sacha Baron Cohen plays are hilarious. The Kazakhstan dude (Borat is really funny)... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacha_Baron_Cohen Well, I just wanted to see what other good comedies are out there, I am almost done watching all of the AliG episodes.
Currently it would have to be Arrested Development. Although Da Ali G Show is great. My only complaint with that series is how it wastes time with that gay fashion character. All he tends to do is provoke rednecks by coming on to them. Which is funny, but not after the 10th time you see it.
Yeah, Bruno the Austrian gay tv guy isnt as funny as the rest but there was this one episode where he was interviewing some guys on a wrestling team who were on a beach (spring break)...there were all excited to be on tv and were doing really weird stuff until the end where he asked them to say hell to the gay austrian tv...they were like wth...that was hillarious
what ever happened to The Office, US version. It suddenly stopped airing like after 5 episodes. I thought it was a funny show.
That was one of the last episodes of Season 2 and yes it was great. "Gay TV?! What do you mean Gay TV?! Get the f-ck out of here! There's no Gay TV!!!" They only shot 6 episodes for the first season. Thankfully, NBC picked it up for another year. It's not as great as the original, but it's still a really funny show, so I was glad to see it's coming back.
I like Scrubs Still Standing Joey I'm always too busy to watch AD. Perhaps I will use the DVR on it next season. If you're including cartoons, Family Guy is at the top.
German Guest : We didn't start it. Basil : Yes, you did. You invaded Poland. I also like Blackadder II, III, and IV.
Right there with you. John Cleese is a comedy genius. I saw him perform in the Gilbert and Sullivan Society production of The Mikado in the '90s and he was freaking awesome.
Whatever happened to Committed? I don't know if I've ever laughed as much in a 30 minute time span. Other than that, the sitcom is dying a slow, painful death...
