I know this may sound funny because im a white teenager that lives in the suburbs but i love Richard Pryor. His stuff maybe be dirty sometimes, but he is one of the few people in the world that can actually make me laugh out loud and mean it.

Dave Chapelle (the guy who was in Half Baked) is hilarious. Try downloading his HBO coming home special, it's about 1 hour long.

Bill Hicks was the man! He grew up in Houston and started along with Sam Kinison when he was 16 and evolved into the person I think ranks with Richard Pryor and George Carlin as the best comedian of all time. Bill died at only 32 in 1994, but his body of work ranks with anyone. John Cleese of Monty Python put it best when he said that Bill Hicks was like Lenny Bruce, only very, very funny. Check him out and thank me later.

-Elvis, who would be remiss if he didn't mention that the funniest show of all time is Mr. Show and the funniest and most brilliant musicians are Tenacious ****ing D!

I recorded it when it came on HBO. His routine is hilarious! It was one of the few that had me laughing all the way through. I especially loved the "Sesame Street" part. :D

I second that! That is one funny man. A few of my other favorites are Bernie Mack, Chris Rock, Ellen Degeneres did some hilarious stand up in her day too.

Of course, it's hard to beat the originals.....Pryor, Eddie Murphy, etc.

I went to the LAtino Lauch Festival in San Antonio about a month ago. There were several up and coming latino comedians all of them so frickin hilarious I couldn't even remember the jokes there were so many of them.
I remember seeing the guy that did the Taco Bell Chihuahua, Carlos Macias I believe, very, very funny guy.
