Looking back, there have been a few unique terms and catchphrases that originated here at clutchfans in its 10 year history - some that won't go away. Which one is your favorite?
I don't know where a lot of those started but I've seen them. Unlike some of the others, the "unlikely" gif still makes me laugh.
From the YoYao saga. It was a badly mistyped "comfortable" in a thread where people were ragging on YoYao pretty hard. I think people latched on to it as a particularly clear example of YoYao's poor communication skills and made a running joke of it. I don't think it is as memorable as the "its summer..." quote, but you can work fomfotable into any conversation, so it's a lot more versatile.
and the idea that the word meant something more than just comfortable. he was talking about lingerie....saying he didn't think it would be all that comfortable. but he said, "fomfotable" instead. fomfotable sounds dirty to me, but maybe i'm a freakshow. so my follow up response to him was, "oh, they're fomfotable."
seconded .. that one had the honor of being in my sig for approximately 6 months.. another add in that I can't believe the OP missed: -POINT-FORWARD.. or, as Tmacyao01 would refer to it: is Tmac a Pointforward? is Tmac a Pointforward? is Tmac a Pointforward? is Tmac a Pointforward? is Tmac a Pointforward? is Tmac a Pointforward? you get the idea.. one thread that I can never get enough of is the "Lake-persons war feelings" referring to the Lakers game a couple of seasons ago.. it was basically a foreign clutchfan who decided to use babelfish in his translation.. needless to say, it didn't workout well.. one of my favorite phrases was "dispatch the backless stool", it was absolutely priceless.. then fatty came along and posted the newsradio vid, which was analogous to the situation and absolutely hilarious.. I recommend going through the whole thread for anyone who feels depressed/looking for some fun.. it really is great, I've read all the replies over 6 times, and I still laugh at some of them until now.. I really think this board has the greatest sense of humor on the internet.. here's the thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=121660
can anyone elaborate on the "unlikely gif" (surprisingly, I haven't seen this one yet), "George Ming", and Karl Kolb??
