I could have sworn that there has already been a thread on this, but I couldn't find it. Any way, seeing the thread on wings made me think about what are some favorite places to eat chicken? For me, it always used to be Chick-fil-A but Zaxby's has overtaken them. Don't get me wrong, I still love Chick-fil-A but I feel that Zaxby's is better. Both places are awesome when it comes to eating a chicken sandwich. KFC is okay but I would rather eat at Popeye's but neither one can touch Chick-fil-A and Zaxby's.
Chic-fil-a has great chicken sandwiches. I wish they served whole pieces. I like KFC original and Popeye's Spicy. for local Houston people Barbecue Inn on crosstimbers has GREAT fried chicken. Takes them 30 minutes to prepare but worth the wait.
I didn't know that. The thread does not distinguish between fried chicken and chicken sandwiches - it is meant to see what favorite fast food chicken places people like to go. I guess I could edit my title and add "fast food" after favorite but it is past the time to edit a title.
Both Timmy Chan's and Chicken Kitchen deserves a mention. I can sure go for a Cuban Chop Chop Bowl at Chicken Kitchen now.
There is a place on Shepherd called something like "Chinese Food Hamburger." It doesn't belong on this list.
while i am a vegetarian and do not eat chicken so i picked the spot where I have the most fun at if I go with friends. that is "other" that "other" place is never a dull moment there
I wonder how this pole breaks down on a race basis. So far chick-fill-a and popeye's are head to head. I myself am a minority and prefer popeye's. Just curious if most of the people that voted for chick-fill-a are white and if most of the people that voted for popeye's are minorities.
i guess based on the choices, you mean Fast Food. If it was "Chicken Restaurant", which is not exactly the same thing, I'd choose Chicken Out.
Frenchy's, anyone who voted for something else or hasn't tried Frenchy's... your missing out on Houston's best fried chicken. King Special.
