as I sit here eating my egg, cheese & bacon kolache with a bottle of apple juice,
I'm wondering what is everyone's favorite breakfast foods?

I'm really partial to plain 'ol bacon and eggs,
but give me pancakes and syrup any 'ol day and I'm a happy camper!

I also really like breakfast tacos!

What are some of your favorite breakfast foods?

Dude, I eat a packet of Quaker instant oatmeal every day for breakfast and I've lost 14 pounds in since March. Exercising has helped, too.

I've also learned that I AM THE DEVIL!!!!

I love a Country Boy breakfast, but 350 days a year I just have a bagel and fruit or some approximation of that. And 3 cups of decaffe coffee, of course.

That's actually a Will Ferrell reference. It's from the Jim Carrey episode with the Jimmy Tango's Fatbusters skit.

Add a glass of prune juice and the Sunday newspaper to read, and your whole day is set...Just make sure no other living things are within a five block radius of your bathroom...

I love those things! Unfortunately, I get a sugar rush that lasts for half the day when I eat them, so I save them for special occasions.

Regular breakfast is either a smoothie (with bananas, strawberries, tofu, cranberry juice and protein powder) or its a poached egg on a whole wheat english muffin with a cup of coffee. It depends on how I feel.

Since it's now almost 10 a.m. and I've just stumbled out of bed with the sniffles, I think I'm going for the smoothie. :)

Whataburger makes the most outstanding breakfast taquitos. Although I have come to realize that if I make them myself, it is a LOT cheaper. So I guess my answer is breakfast tacos/taquitos.

I used to like the Con Queso Breakfast from Juan in a Million here in Austin. Scrambled eggs drenched in queso, carne guisada, potatoes and refried beans. Yum.

Unfortunately my doctor called today and said I had high cholesterol. It may be Total cereal for awhile now.

That's exactly why I eat oatmeal every day.

That's one of the things they told me to eat more of...I'm definitely starting. What was your cholesterol if you don't mind me asking? Mine's 254, but they feel I can control it through diet and weight loss.

    Ride the Snake!!!

    :)

I almost always skip breakfast and go directly to lunch, but I like poached eggs and english muffins. I love doughnuts but don't eat them much. When I go out, it is usually some type of skillet thing like the Hobo Banquet at Le Peep - eggs, hash browns, cheese and onions all skillet-ed up together.
