Mexican Ice Cream Just tried Mexican Ice Cream at this place called Tocumbo off Rayford in Woodlands/Spring. Man it's really good. It's like the fruit was taken and just put into layers of ice basically, totally different than somewhere like Hank's for example, which is good in its own way as well. I recommend this, it's a cool change of pace. Is this how typical mexican ice cream is?
There's a Chine Inn Cafe near highway 6 and West road that I now live by. I'll check it out, but the prices seemed a little high. Hopefully the food is worth it.
It doesn't, but it's the best place to buy beer probably. Including restaurants in this seems kind of foolish, that's something else entirely, in fact I'd venture to say most restaurants (not fast food) aren't chains. I like Reserve Supply Co on Washington even though I never seem to buy anything from them. Reeves antiques off Fairview is solid too but you cargo short wearing, Ikea loving Rockets fans wouldn't get it.
I love C&D hardware on 11th St in the Heights. Great family-owned store, good prices, great selection, great service. It's the kind of old-school hardware store that existed everywhere before Lowe's.
Yeah I know there's one in every corner but postal + copy center has some of the nicest workers ever. They will take care of your package need with a smile.
I tried them for the first time last weekend. Really good stuff! Going back often during summertime...
Never seen one of these, but with customer service like that, are you sure it isn't called "Postage + Copy Center spa"?
