I'm planning on starting to work out again...It's tough to make time with everything going on right now, but I do have to do it. Can anyone vouch for any fat burners out there. I am really looking for one that I only have to take maybe twice a day. 6-8 pills a day is a little much. Any suggestions? Anyone try Lipo-6? I used to use Hydroxycut and Xenadrine, both when they had ephedra. I haven't used them in ages. I think I still have a bottle of ephedra Xenadrine in the cabinet.
I lost about 50 pounds a few years back using the ephedra version of Xenadrine. I've actually been able to keep it off and lose a bit more just by eating smart and running. I've heard the ephedra-free version of Xenadrine works well, but I've never used it. And the key to any weight loss program is water. Make an effort to drink plenty of water everyday.
Man, ephedra made me jumpy...I always felt my heart racing. I quit after some deaths were attributed to it.
Oh yeah, I dont reccomend taking it now. There were times I felt pretty jumpy and my heart was racing like crazy. The stuff did work, but I would try something else if I had it all to do over again.
I am planning on trying this in the next week or so. I cannot get rid of the love handles and wanted to give this a shot. It sucks getting older
Eat right, exercise, and take a vitamin/mineral supplement. That's it. I was 30 pounds over weight with high cholesterol. I stopped drinking coffee I stopped smoking I rarely drink I stay away from most dairy products (take a calcium supplement) Some keys to what I do. I always eat breakfast Either an egg beaters omelot with a few slices of turkey bacon, mushrooms, and red pepper with a few slices of whole wheat toast or a banana if I'm in a hurry. Lunch is simple. Lean meat with a few side veggies and a whole wheat roll. I have a cafeteria at work. Dinner is important, because you shouldn't eat after 7 and don't load up. Keep it simple, modest, and lean. I exercise 5 days a week (enough to do each muscle group twice. Except abs, that's everyday). I first warm-up on a bike for 15 minutes then move to the weights. This is since the new year and have already gone from a 36" pants to 34". My stomach has actually gone down significantly more than that. It doesn't hang over my pants. From 225 to 205, but it is a healthy 205. I'm 6'1". Good luck and keep it natural.
I have really been trying hard to get into shape, but I am not getting the results that I want. I started with the new year. My goal was to add muscle weight. As a result, I started weight training (only machines; no free weights) and eating more. Now, I do not see any tangible muscle gain, but my waist has expanded (probably from eating more). I think I was better off prior to starting the exercise routine. I do not drink and I do not smoke. I don't know what I should do. Anyone have suggestions on how to add muscle weight naturally (to where you see results) and how to lose the belly?
