With the soon to be American Muscle Car history alterations...

What were you're the fastest and slowest cars you've ever owned?

    Mine were:

Fastest - 1969 Camero SS/RS (350 bored .30 with headers, Edlebrock manifold, 850 Holley double pumper and an Accel Eliminator ignition.
It was my first car and all I can say is "what were my parents thinking?" and "I'm lucky to be alive".

Slowest - 1976 Chevette. Keep in mind that I also owned a Renault Alliance and Mercury Lynx but neither of these were as slow as my Chevette. That car is what gives me my biggest driving pet peave today - stopping on an entrance ramp. Do you know what kind of gap I needed between cars to get that car up from 0 to anywhere close to 55?

Never owned a fast car. Not even moderately fast.

Next car I get, I intend for it to have at least 200 hp, and that would be the fastest car I've ever owned.

Fast cars are usually very poor investments (with the exception of collectibles)

Fastest - Ford Escort GT - I used to smoke Sundances and Citations in this.

Slowest - Volvo 240 wagon - Don't laugh, it had a "Bad Boy Club" sticker on it, which later got pissed on by Calvin.

My slowest was probably my '85 Ford Ranger, even though it had the optional V6.

Fastest? I don't know. I've not really worried about speed when buying cars. I would guess that the fastest was probably the '06 Mustang that my wife mostly drove. We got rid of it a few months ago. Though that Eclipse Turbo I had back in college seemed pretty peppy at the time (it wasn't a very high horsepower car, but it was pretty light).

I had a Chevette as well (forgot the year). My fastest is a BMW Z4 3.0si. I actually purchased it because it gets good fuel economy and is a convertible.
